Other than packing too much, the beginning of our journey

was uneventful. We have visited all these ports before and do

not have any shore excursions booked except one we did

on our own for a dinner train in Quebec City. We will be there

two nights so that works well for us.

 Our first two days were in Bar Harbor and Halifax. Both days

were warm and we just walked around and made a few

purchases. I found out the port free wifi works in our cabin

so I should be able to catch up on things when we return

next Thursday.

 

I spoke to our Techspert about problem downloading pictures
and she should be able to get me squared away.

I don't know if this blog is going to be very successful.
I made a mistake of buying a tablet mainly because it
came with MS office. BAD mistake. I definitely need a
laptop and not a tablet.

I tried to download a picture of our itinerary and not
only did not get the pictures but accidentally deleted
excel files

Hopefully our MS rep on ship will be able to show me
how to download pictures. If not I can only do narrative
and may decide to just keep a journal offline and upload
after we return home. Will decide later

Getting Started

I have had a very difficult time getting this blog started.
The option to create a new blog is not working.  I decided to
rename my first test blog and see if it would work.
Success in getting title changed but difficulty changing
"about me" for this trip. Also, cannot change font size
on some items.

I 'm going to get started soon, but I may be making design
changes for a few days.
