Bergen to Amsterdam

There was a tall ship regatta in Bergen but we did not get
to see the sails raised With so many ships it would have
been neat.

While in Amsterdam we went on a tour to a village with
old type windmills and and to Edam, a really nice town.

Norway

On Saturday we were in Bergen, Norway and on Saturday

we were in Stavanger, Norway.  We took a walk in the old

town in both cities. Very nice. In Bergen Foster had booked an

afternoon tour and I decided the night before to join him.

But I was feeling awful. My get up and go got up and went.

Turns out I was running a fever so I cancelled. I was better

Sunday but still not great.

On Wednesday we stopped in Seydisfjordur.

Another gorgeous little town. We enjoyed a nice

walk around the area.

 The three stops in Iceland were all excellent.

This is a wonderful place to visit. It’s difficult

to describe it adequately but I’m really glad we

have more stops later

 

Thursday we were in Torshavn, Faroe Islands.

There was a lot of fog early but it lifted as we

did our tour and we did get to the scenic view. 

 This in another place that is very isolated from

the rest of the world. And again another

delightful place to visit.
