Today
we were in Red Bay, Labrador. We went from a
town
of about 20,000 to a village of about 750. We will
continue
to a smaller village tomorrow.
As
expected, the temperature has dropped considerably.
I
didn’t add extra layers except for coat but did have gloves
and
toboggan.
I thought we would would only be gone a couple
of
hours. We were gone almost 3 hours and saw movie
and
exhibits about whaling history and recovery of
sunken
whaling boat but did not get to historical site
on
Saddle Island.
